Leigh’s the owner of Butte Premier Physical Therapy. He grew up in Durham and returned there to live after receiving a bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from Chico State, as well as a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Southern California.
He’s a huge fan of baseball, college football, and spending time with his wife and kids.
Christian grew up in Chico and earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology from Chico State before getting his doctorate in physical therapy from University of Puget Sound. In his spare time, Christian enjoys being outdoors and has done quite a bit of mountain climbing, most recently summiting Mt. McKinley.
Chelsea grew up in Placerville, Calfornia and earned her bachelor’s degree from Chico State University in exercise physiology and went on to graduate from Sacramento State University with her doctorate in physical therapy. She enjoys snowboarding, playing soccer and volleyball and going on hikes or to the river with her dog.
Corrine grew up in Redding and moved to Chico in 2001. She immediately went into the medical field and felt passionate about helping others. In 2015 she graduated from Butte College with a degree in Social and Behavioral Science. She enjoys spending time with her children, cooking and exploring the beauty of the northstate.
Sarah grew up in Wisconsin, and received her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. Her love of being active and helping others persuaded her to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in San Diego, CA. Her husband got a job teaching at Chico State, which brought them both to Chico July 2016. In her free time, she enjoys running, hiking, biking, and cooking.
Neelufar was born in Oregon and earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiology & Neuroscience from UC San Diego. She then moved to Arizona to obtain her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Midwestern University – Glendale. She enjoys painting wildlife, baking, and traveling.
Lisa graduated from SUNY StonyBrook in 1995 with a BS in Physical Therapy. She also has a BS in Applied Mathematics with a minor in Business. She has extensive experience working with orthopedic, post-operative and geriatric patients, as well as aquatic Physical Therapy experience. Lisa has continued expanding her skills with many continuing education classes over the years, complimenting her hands-on skills. Lisa has produced extraordinary results in her work with exercise and manual therapy techniques. She incorporates yoga and stabilization techniques in her exercise programs, and her manual therapy utilizes soft tissue work and mobilization techniques of the spine and joints. Education in joint protection, posture and body mechanics are also important aspects of her treatment.
Lisa lived in Norwalk, CT and enjoys movies, jogging, yoga, pilates, playing racquetball and working out.
Katelyn graduated with her Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology from Chico State. She went to PT school in Scotland at Robert Gordon University and graduated with her Masters of Science in Physiotherapy. In her free time, Katelyn enjoys trail running with her dogs and doing yoga. Katelyn has a passion for helping women by treating pelvic floor dysfunction and abdominal pain, in addition to orthopedic conditions.
